Building Controls VII: Interactive Illustration of PID Response
The purpose of this course is to see how
proportional control may oscillate and stabilize at a point above the setpoint
and how an integral term helps a control loop to achieve a result closer to the
setpoint. We’ll also spend some time explaining how derivatives help to prevent
overshoots.
